English Muffin Recipe

Ingredients for English Muffins:

– 15 grams of fresh yeast
– 180 milliliters of lukewarm water
– 22 grams of sugar
– 5 grams of salt
– 30 grams of beaten egg
– 340 grams of all-purpose flour
– 42 grams of softened butter

Instructions:

1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water.
2. Add the beaten egg, sugar, and salt one by one, and start mixing.
3. Add the flour and softened butter, and continue kneading.
4. Divide the dough into round balls and let them proof. You should be able to get 10 round balls, but I intentionally made 4 larger pieces.
5. After proofing, cook the muffins on a low heat on a skillet, flipping them over.
6. Enjoy your English muffins!
